Isometric combines filtered guitar loop arrangements with an array of fuzz boxes, synthesizers and drum machines to create echo-laden, instrumental pop songs.
As one half of the band Tomorrowland, Stephen Baker has released a number of 7"s, 12"s, and LPs in the late 90's with labels such as Kranky and Darla, and garnered press in The Wire, NME, Melody Maker and Magnet. He has also exhibited audio and visual installations in Detroit, New York, London and Antwerp.
Since 2002, he has been working as an art director in New York with his company, Red Antenna. During that time, he has worked with a number of clients, including, VH1, Sony, PBS and Brooklyn Academy of Music. He is currently developing audio software for an upcoming project, Ensemble.
